1986 B2000 LX Edition

In early September of 1985 I bought a 1986 Mazda B2000 LX Edition long bed
truck. At the time I was actually looking for a Toyota truck. One day in Napa,
California standing almost directly across the street from the Mazda dealership,
I thought well I'll keep looking but I might as well go check out what they have
. The rest is history, that truck was everything I could have hoped for and more
at a great price. I have been driving it ever since.
Over the years I have made a few modifications such as 15 inch tires, rims,
fender guards, etc. At 266,509 miles I replaced the 2000cc original motor with a
rebuilt 2200cc. I also had A/C & P/S added on. The original motor developed a
cracked head so I installed the other motor. I also put in a RV cam. This truck
has been, and continues to be a great friend and 100% reliable source of
transportation. Lord willing I will drive it the rest of my life.
